Default Springs

Got my springs installed last weekend. No rubbing even with 2 passengers on the rear.
Let me know what you think...

My setup: Volk SF-Winning Gunmetal, 8.5x19 +38 F, 9.5x19 +42 R
Toyo Proxies T1-R 235/35 19 F, 275/30 19 R
Tanabe DF210 (PM me if you want more info on this spring)

I must say this is one of the nicest mods I've seen in a while! Those Volks will even look nice on a dark colored IS.

seems like almost all the springs makes it so the back is lower than the front..

and for that reason i will go coilovers

OMG!!! Varok I just LOVE your car. IMO, your car and Tim817 ISs are the best looking cars on CL at the time. The weird part is that I don't like dark color rims, but for some reason, they look AWESOME on your car and now with the drop, you just have the perfect setup. BTW, I should be getting my IS this week or the next and it pretty much has the exact same color and equipment, so your car gives me something to look forward to!!!

Please take more pics of your car, or better yet, have razox take the pics, you already saw what he did with that black Lexus, so I couldn't even begin to imagine the great shots he could take of your car.

BTW, how wide are the lips on your front/rear wheels??

thats how they all come stock. Lower any IS the same amount in the front and rear and they will look like that, Its the cut of the fenders.

I am with you. I havent seen one IS on here that was lowered with springs that I like yet. I just dont like the fact that the rear is lower than the front. My .02
