Default Spring compressor

Hey Guys! I just bought a set of L-Tuned springs/shocks, now I am trying to figure out what I need to do the job myself. I know many of you use manual spring compressors with two long bolts; but how about something like this?

Or would be be better to just get the screw type as well as a set of air tools?

thanks!

I don't really want the hassle of dealing with a shop -- making appointments and such. The car is my daily driver which means I will be doing work on Saturday/Sunday, when most of them are closed anyway. Money isn't really an issue; just want a tool that will do the job.

I could use the screw type compressor, but with 8 springs to compress, it will take forever.

That looks like a nice tool. If you have eight springs, I'd say it's worth it.

A screw tool will be $30, like this one, which I used. Another $70 isn't so much for the time you'll save.

If you do get it and use it, be sure to post pictures.

Eight springs meaning 4 springs to remove, then 4 springs to install.

I am going to ask my friends if they have a good tool I can use, and if not, I'll probably give this one a try. If I do, I will definitely post a report.

I used a regular spring compressor and air tools. It took a few hrs but did the job. Plus the spring compressor was free from autozone.. a loan progran they have. May be worth it just to do that a pay a buddy a few bucks... or a free dinner to help. Worked for me.

Looks like my friend who is going to help me has spring compressors, so we'll just go with whatever he has.
