Did my GS400 several months ago. It's a lot of labor. For sure you need a air compressor w/ tools to work the spring compression tool. I started off simply uses a 1/2" rachet wench and found that to a real chore. A good bench vice to secure the spring/shock assembly also helps. It's really a labor intensive task; not a lot of know-how is involved . . . . just hard work.

Make sure you use the safety features on the spring compression tool . . . . there's a lot of energy that could be randomly released if the spring compressor fails.

Figure an all day plus project for (2) people.

BTW: Get an alignment afterwards

Good luck

Yeah post pictures of your car when it is done. What kind of suspension are you doing on the car? SSR GT3 are one of my favorite wheels overall. Also like the Integrals for that low key yet good looking look & the Type-C's(SSF 17x9=15.5 lbs  ) for pure racing.

ok.this was a lot easier than i thought. I can post pics after....

Fronts and back..........
simply loosen the top center bolt one turn or less, then the three bolts in the top also ( the back is cover with the trunk carpet)
loosen the lug nuts on the wheel
raise the car, remove wheel.
unbolt the strut assemble
(FRONT)remove the top A arm bolt to remove the spring/strut assembly
(BACK) remove the plastic cover and lower brace to lower the wheel assembly and remove the spring/strut assembly
then put it in a vice to hold and compress the spring with the spring compessor
once fully compressed unbolt the center bolt holding the spring in the assembly. (this is the dangerous bolt that if removed without compessing can make the spring jump out )

remove the spring and put it back together in the reverse order.

Make sure you look at the springs before you take them apart so you don't put them in upside down and they are seated correctly in the assembly.

I used the l-sportline suspension and it sits very low. I love it. No rubbing with 19's
two finger gap in front and almost two in back.

It looks very sweet and i don't regret it!

Until we get snow!
