Default Brake Calipers

I know this is going to be one of those boring questions for most of you, but here goes.
I have a pretty stock 02 is300 and am planning on keeping it that way (leased). However, the brake calipers are getting ugly. Is there a recommended type of paint / method of painting? I am thinking black probably. I had red on my 98 Prelude and I don't think it is classy enough for this car.

yea... u can use folia-tec or G2 (i think its glossier)

1-take ur wheels off (all of them)
2-clean the caliper
3-either leave the caliper on and cover the surround areas and then paint or take it off and paint it off the car.
*if u take it off, make sure to bleed the brake lines.

on my first IS, i painted it right on the rotor... got a little messy. but hardly noticeble.

if i were you, since u're gonna do black.. paint ur hubs too and whatever else that could potentially rust..

I take it that the Duplicolor is a spray? Where did you purchase it? I'm thinking of going red calipers?

yes, spray. go to kragen, pepboys, autozone, etc... they are the most available autopaint you can find

I did mine with the hi-temp epoxy paint kit from Eastwood. It comes in a variety of colors (I did mine in black), is nicely glossy, holds up well and is not messy to do with the calipers on. It goes on with a brush but is self-leveling so there are no brush marks if you don't over brush it. It's not cheap, now about $40 + shipping from central PA.
