Default squeaking sounds.?

When i am in traffic and driving slow, i am hearing a weird squeaking sound...dont know if it is coming from my brake pads rubbing, my wheels or my suspension. It kind of takes away from the luxury feel of the car when i go squeaking by some nice Mercedes or something.....can some one please help, i have ignored this problem long enough and would like to do something about it

thank you

Maybe worn bushings? relatively cheap fix and not too hard either. I believe worn out bushings cause squeaking.

if your car is a 95-96, its probably the bushings.

Actually, if the bushings are replaced properly, they are not too difficult. One mistake however and kiss that control arm goodbye if you don't have replacement parts.

Most likely your front lower control a-arm bushings. Very common problem on these cars. The bushing in the back of the front lower a-arm is not a solid bushing, all the other bushings are solid..This bushing has some hollow spaces within it and over time tears and starts squeaking and and makes all kinds of noise. If your car has over 100,000 to125,000 miles this could very easyly be the problem. Replace with the last generation Supra a-arms, much cheaper than the Lexus part but does give a firmer ride. The Supra lower front a-arms are soild rubber, thus firmer(sporty) ride.

If it is your upper A arm and you want to change the bushings, I have the Daizen polyurethane bushings for sale in the SC classifieds.
