The LCA bushings are popping out, I'm using a 5" C-clamp to push the center sleeve in and one bushing is sticking out 1-2mm. What seems to be the problem here?

sounds like u arent using enough grease and/or not enough force. do the bushings appear to be seated properly?
when i had the bushings swapped in my camry (polyurethane from Armstrong) i just took them down to my local NAPA and had them press them in (they took the old ones out too ) for ~$9/each (total was 36 for both lower arms, theres 2 bushings in each)

Yea, one of them is, but the other isn't. I was using a C-clamp with the biggest washers Home Depot had, looks like I need to see if anyone has a press around here.
UCA/LCA bushings. UCAs slipped in with no problems. Now, when I went to finish the LCAs, the bushings themselves slipped in with no issues, they were flush with the arm at this stage. I began to have trouble with the metal sleeve, it went in 1/2 way fine, but as soon as it began to enter the other bushing 1/2, it wanted to pop out. So I used a 5" c-clamp with 2 11/2" washers and press the sleeve and the bushings in. That worked to seat the sleeve in, but now the opposite bushing half is a good 1-2mm out, I can use a vise or C-clamp to squeeze it in, but it sticks right out. What can I do at this stage?
Measure the inside diameter where this sleeve fits then measure the sleeve. Largely a pres will make it fit but sometimes tolerances change so if this is a couple .001" or such, that may be the difference of a good fit, loose or too tight.
no, I have one place with a machine shop, but the rest are all AutoZones and Kragens. I've taken a small chunk of the Daizens off while trying to force them in, nothing too serious.
