Yeah, it depends on the cop and the place. But if they wanted to they'll still give you a ticket for having it on your dashboard because it is supposed to be on the front of the vehicle.

Would they pull you over specifically for that? I hear that if they pull you over for something else and notice you don't have front plate, then they'll give you a fine for that also.

Well...like said before, it just really depends on place and how the cop feels. Here in Hawaii alot of people do it and don't usually get ticketed for that, but if they got pulled over for something else and then if the cop realizes that you don't have a front plate then they will ticket you then and there for that.

Like I said though....it really depends where and if the cop is bored and feel like giving you a ticket then.....thats just a risk you need to think about or are willing to take.

Friend told me that front license plates won't be required anymore in Texas soon ... but I thought that's accurate

that law did not pass but if u drive normally and dunt speed, u will be just fine. i dunt have mine on but if u really have to put it on, i would zip tie it to the bottom grill. it may look ugly but its better than having holes in ure bumper. btw if u live in plano, u have to have it on or risk it imo.
