Im annoyed, ive been tryin to get a car for a while now and though ive never been a fan of civics i drove a new si and it was really nice, plus my parents are actually agreeing for a change. if it works out by tomorrow night ill have that bright blue one at honda of concord(200 yards from quaker stake)...but if i dont have it by then ill be in the moms 328i...being between cars sucks. and now im gonna feel like a loser being at a lexus meet with a honda. oh god. i never thought about it like that. IT WONT be ricey at all i swear at any time during its life. its just a nice reliable car for a while to get back and forth to college. but i look foward to it. see you guys there!!!

 

Well, had a blow-out on the passenger rear tire. Have maybe 600 miles on these tires. So unless my distributor sends it before the meet, I will be riding on the stockers. SUCKS!!!!! Anyway, will still be there. Hope to see more people.

I've sent a reminder note out to the GM at Hendrick to see if he's made any progress on getting us into one of the places outlined earlier in this post. I think if its more than a parking-lot meet we'll get better turnout and folks from surrounding areas will be more inclined to travel.

 

oh man, I need to get my lug nuts in and mount my tires on my wheels quickly then. Don't wanna show up in a meet with some 18's do I...

I thought it was the 29th. The state Championships are this week-end I'm not going to make it. Damn I was wanting to see if Vince have picked up any game since the last time with met.

 

Well I guess if no other Lexus owners are going to show, it is off. Not trying to be rude by any means to you guys with other cars, but this was supposed to be a Lexus meet, so if there aren't any other Lexus owners going, it's kind of pointless for us to meet up. I meet up with all my other friends with other kinds of cars all the time, actually every Sat. night. I just wanted to finally meet up with some other Lexus enthusiasts for once.

As far as the 29th, that is the Supra meet. But they have extended an envitation to Lexus owners as well. We just have to remember that it is a Supra meet and they would like to be able to park together. So if we got a few people together that wanted to go to this meet, maybe we could all try and park together as well. Just a suggestion. I will start a new thread about this meet, so please list if your going or not. Thanks.

(from original topic of this post) Got an email back from the GM at Hendrick this morning, he just had a visit from his Lexus Rep. and he is working on it for us.

 

Haven't been on for a while but saw this thread and had to jump in. Dave, those options you discussed sound great. I would definitley be in for a Hendrick's tour or a TRD tour. Just need to figure out which car to bring. Almost talked myself into FI for the Lex but wifey wants some other stuff.
Sup is running good now that new clutch is in and PS leak is fixed. Picked up an OEM carbon fiber/leather wheel. Looks real nice. Also blinged out wifey's LX with rims and a Panasonic in-dash stereo/Nav. Will need to get some good (better) pics. Here is one for now.

So does that mean I can be "2SICKLEX"?? Just kidding.

I am trying to figure out if I am going to have to sell all three of these to get my butt in an LF-A (LF-1?).
