Thanks Mike. Jason is at the Porsche club event with me this weekend (he works for Hendrick Lexus) and said that he did not think they were bringing one but he would ask around a bit. Hendrick isn't providing one for the show.

hey guys...i live in the charlotte area. im down for a meet anytime. i usually attend the weekly meets but they always seem to get broken up.

 

Ok. I see we are still trying to find a spot to meet up at and something to do. I for one would love to have something to do this weekend, even if it's just an intro meet (this weekend because my wife's step brother is getting married and I don't want to go). I say we just meet up for lunch or dinner somewhere and then we can all get our heads working together and work something out. The Supra guys are having a big meet (annual) at the Quacker Steak & Lube in Concord on the 29th of Dec. I was hoping to meet up with a few more Lexus Enthusiasts before then and maybe have a few join me at THAT meet as well. The Supra guys are down for having us there also. So......just my 2 pennies worth.

Also, on a side note, I see a few more SC enthusiasts on here as well. Awesome. Hope to meet you all soon. L8r.

How far is Concord from Charlotte?

 

10 minutes from my house (North Charlotte).

I'm not sure where I'll be that weekend yet over the holiday. Sorry can't make it this weekend though due to previous plans but hopefully others can.

 

Right next to each other. If you are coming up 85N you would just keep going and get off on exit 49 and QS&L is one light up. We also have the Concord Mills Mall just down the street right off 85. It has everything there, including an indoor go-kart track. 485 goes around Charlotte just like 285 does in ATL, and the Concord exit is the very next exit after the northern end of I-485

 

What time is that meet. I wouldn't try to go to Concord Mills that day though Sat. after X-Mas you want be able to move in that place.

 

Actually, they do it every year at this time and it's really not that bad as far as traffic goes. This is the 4th annual meet. Starts at 1pm. 29th Dec.

If it's sometime around saturday lunch time, then I might be able to come out and hang around for a bit. But as for the Dec. 29th meet, no can do for me as I'll be playing in the snow in colorado..

 

Sounds like fun. I'm thinking maybe we can meet up either next weekend or the one after that. Even if it's just like a social get together. I for one think we should have a monthly gathering and then we could plan for events and tours during those times. I am hoping to have an event this coming Spring and could use some ideas and input.
