Can you put up a screen shot of what / where you are seeing them? Don't doubt that they exist, just want to see what they are and how they show up for you.
Few questions:
If inappropriate content, can you grab the URL and paste it into this thread?
What device and browser are you using?
Are you logged into CL when you see them?
Thanks - so not popping up but appearing inline in the forum. Usually those don't show up unless you're browsing not logged in.
For an easy fix, I might suggest trying running an ad-blocker and see if that helps remove it. I use ad-blocker plus (free) for Chrome on my PC, believe they have a version for IE as well.
