What is with these threads that say sponsored content. They have nothing to do with our forum and In fact I think they are inappropriate

Can you put up a screen shot of what / where you are seeing them? Don't doubt that they exist, just want to see what they are and how they show up for you.

Few questions:
If inappropriate content, can you grab the URL and paste it into this thread?
What device and browser are you using?
Are you logged into CL when you see them?

Internet explorer I am logged in and they show up as the first thread of the forum I see them in then gx470 forum also sc430 forum

been seeing it for three days now

Thanks - so not popping up but appearing inline in the forum. Usually those don't show up unless you're browsing not logged in.

For an easy fix, I might suggest trying running an ad-blocker and see if that helps remove it. I use ad-blocker plus (free) for Chrome on my PC, believe they have a version for IE as well.
