While using Safari on iPhone to look at the forum, an annoying pop-up appears about winning a prize. After clicking "close," it redirects to another page. Can't click "back" to return the forum. Need to close tab and reopen page.

Next time you see it can you capture as much information as possible with screen shots of the ad, copy/paste of the URL and also the CL page you were on so we can identify the offending advertiser?

Also may may want to use adblocker plus which is out now (at least for iPad safari.)

I'm using Chrome on my Motorola Droid Maxx and get these all the time. This time I was looking at a windshield wiper thread in the NX forum, but it happens all over the CL site. Here's the URL and a couple screen shots.

im not the only one! been happening more to me lately. cant even press the "go back" button on my iphone, it will only redirect to the same website; either i close the window or go back to the main website. im also using safari

I've been getting the same this on my tablet and phone. Now on my android phone a red screen pops up saying " entering deceptive site" and something else. I'll try and screen shot it.
I'm thinking it's the Infiniti guys trying to slow the progress were starting to have with tuning our cars. 😂😂😂 jk

is it me, my phone, or account? Every time I open this forum on my phone I get redirected to some sort of ad site like gaming, watches, evin ****??!!!
This happens only on the phone as it opens the mobile site. Is any one having this issue as will. I am beginning to hate going throw the forum nowadays.

Same here, Fixman. You can change the browser setting to request the desktop site, but it isn't the best solution. I haven't been able to determine the root cause. I have tried MalwareBytes, mobile Norton, and mobile Kaspersky but none of them flag any infections. I don't know if it's just aggressive ad banners on the mobile site but, yes, quite irritating.
