Default Ignore List Doesn't Ignore Threads Started?

There's a certain member on my ignore list because he never searches and starts repetitive threads in the 2GS forum. I put him on my ignore list and it only ignores his posts. Is there a way to make his threads not show up in the list? I'm tired of seeing them.

It should make you ignore them all the time... I suspect there is some patch that needs to be applied to fix this.

Will report it with the next bundle of stuff i submit for fixes, but may need to wait until the next minor upgrade (date tbd) which should fix it

i think Chrispy and I have this same member in common

Dave, to clarify and better understand, if i place this member in my ignore list, will this setting completely block all of this member's posts/threads/pm's (everything relevant to this member)?

Correct, that is what is supposed to happen.

I have a member on ignore due to some stuff last year in the press box and a PM he sent me. I have not seen a single post from this person, but maybe he never starts threads.

I thought it was just mine that didn't work correctly......I guess several of us are having issues with it.

I've reported the issue and sounds like it will likely get fixed in our next minor upgrade. Finding out timing for that.
