Default Custom Exhaust Builders Chime in

With a good amount of people creating there own exhausts Joe Z for an example, anyone hear know what resonator they used to kill deceleration and cruising drone (1k-2.5k) rpm? Without quieting down the noise? I'm currently running muffler deletes, and I love it, but I would like to see peoples inputs on silencing the drone.

My Exhaust is currently dumping at the middle of the car, would adding pipes routed to the tips reduce the drone?

SHouldn't have deleted your mufflers if drone is what you are wanting to get rid of. Mufflers are there to alleviate drone.

Good time to weld on stock ISF mufflers if you're wanting to reduce a lot of drone.

I want some sound of the car lol, I already knew drone was going to be there, but I wanted to see if anyone knows a way to reduce it.

The only way I reduced my drone albeit with the Borla was with the motorcycle exhaust silencers another forum member found! The inserts reduced the drone by about 6 db and eliminated 95% of the drone for about $18-20 from amazon.

Equal length headers eliminate the drone.

The drone will be maximized if its dumping right under the car. Weld some pipes up that exit at the rear and it will make a huge difference

Thanks bro! I'm looking towards of getting an x pipe and SLP loudmouth resonators, with muffler deletes. That would be pretty good for me.
