Default custom exhaust ?

hey everyone, so im preparing for my new rims in about 2 weeks and im trying to do minor things with some money i have left over such as an custom exhaust. i live over here in the 626 and visited mikes mufflers for a custom exhaust set up.
im sort of on a budget, kind of a 400 dollar spending cap. SO anyways, what im trying to accomplish a deep beastly tone for my gs300 03. what mike suggested was magnaflow mufflers with 4 inch tips + taking out my resonators. i went to another shop as well, and they recommended just taking off the mufflers and running tips and if i dont like the sound than to run FLOWMASTERS single chamber mufflers with stock resonators and the 4inch tips. i have no idea what sound any of these are going to produce, but the flowmaster option is about 100 dollars cheaper. im not looking for performance at all but more just for sound.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
i would really appreciate it !
-thank you !
Jonathan

If you just wanna see how it sounds without the stock mufflers just unbolt them. Two bolts on each muffler and then the rubber donut hangers in the rear. Easy to remove. That'll let you know how it will sound with the stock resonators and no mufflers.

Leave your resonator abuse the flow master with the tip, or look for used axle backs here. I have a custom flowmaster catbacks on mine without resonator and wish I would have left it, a little to raspy

anybody have good experience with magnaflow?
im still hung if i wanna go with the magnaflow or with the flowmaster...
i heard flowmaster was used for trucks, but he told me that on my gs it would sound beastly... can anyone second that?
i heard that magnaflow always has a raspy voice, not sure.. youtube can never depict it in the right way due to ****ty cameras, etc...

from what I noticed the GS with its dual setup is going to be raspy in comparasion to a single exhaust, a good X-pipe and resonator will help euqualize the exhaust system and reduce the raspy sound. My currect system is too raspy for me, I like the deep throaty sound of a single exhaust on my Supra and previous IS3

check this out....might be something you want to look into. I personally just cut out all my resonators and added an intake. Nice quiet deep rumble, when you open it up it really comes alive.
