Default 2008 lexus IS250 - Question about removing emblems

Hello everyone,

I have a 2008 Lexus IS 250 and wanted to remove the 2 emblems from the back. The "Lexus" one on the left and the "IS 250" one on the right. Do the 2008 IS 250 models have holes when you remove the emblem or will I be fine by just using a heat gun and floss to remove them and no holes will be there after?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure all the emblems on the trunk have holes, so you'll have to fill them in somehow.

This thread might help you: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...dge-plugs.html

There will be holes left after. Bring it to a body shop and they'll fill them nicely for you.

There are two tiny holes behind both of those emblems. Unless you're an Obsessed Garage member, you won't notice the holes haha.

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know how much it costs to fill in the holes or if there are any easy DIY ways to fill them in?

Thanks

Stick F Sport emblems where they were, they have no pins.

Clearly you didn't read the link that was posted above. You can:
1) DIY w/ bondo and touchup paint
2) Buy plugs and touchup paint
3) take it to a shop, how much it will cost depends on the shop
4) do some research
5) let it be
