What have you guys found to be good (and unobtrusive) wireless CarPlay adapters, and magnetic charging mounts for an IS. I’d prefer not to have it on top of the dash. I know the available options are always changing on Amazon.

I'm confused why you would need to pay $120 to convert to wireless. The one I have was $30 on Amazon and works perfectly. There are many options on Amazon.
On the mounting side of things I had a Proclip for the IPhone, mounted to vent. To be honest it wasn't for me I just didn't like it. So if you are looking to go in that direction let me know you can have it for free just pay for shipping and it's yours you could always change out the phone interface to magsafe as the phone slides into this one. I now have one that uses magsafe and uses the CD slot, so far I like it, not the most ideal but it works.

I started with a $30 but within two weeks, it started to glitch. The screen would go black and stay black until I unplugged. Then the 2nd one, bluetooth wouldn't connect every time. I was feeling crazy haha. My friend told me about the Crutchfield one and it's been super consistent.

I was considering ordering a proclip. I bought one for my wifes X5 and she really likes it. Do you have a photo of where this one mounts? I would happily pay you for it.
Make sure you get the "Two+", it's the only one that supports Carplay.
Made in Europe, cheap looking case (3d printed?) but I don't care much about that, decent app if you want to play around with the screen DPI and such. So far so good, I've been using it for a year, bought it at their pre-sale event last year.
