We did this so stickies don't consume some or all of the initial forum page view so you can see other new and updated threads!

My first reaction would be to restore them all….. Not sure why this vast library of information about this platform would be removed.

I am predicting that newer owners will be re-asking questions that could easily be answered with thread searches. (I know that performing searches is becoming a “lost skill” but……).

 

we cannot restore previously 'stuck' state to threads. the threads are still there... just tell us which ones you believe should be included here. thanks.

 

The other forums I use (LS430, LS460, RX350) have not deleted their entries. If I had a list to review I would ask for most of them…. Not sure what motivated this change. Over 30 years of information is now “lost”.

Here is a snippet on the WayBack Machine from the time when all the Sticky Threads where still intact, which can help restore at least some of the more useful Sticky Threads. I am not a fan of a number of changes here either, but at least things appear to be moving somewhere.

[EDIT]: For this forum in particular, I do believe that it would be of benefit to create more than one Thread with Links, one for the Repairs, and one for the Mods, as, in contrast to the ES Forum, the latter is still a big thing around here.
