Xpel was scheduled but temporarily on hold since the hood needs a lil more buffing and few edges need some help.
Plus my xpel installer said it's better to let the clear coat cure a few weeks before application.

I'm excited for you about the blower!! Hope I can get one soon. Gonna let you be guinea pig this time...😬
Saw a G37 drift car yesterday at spocom that had an LS conversion with a super charger on it. This thing must have been putting out 1k hp plus. He was melting g those tires!!
The belt whine sounded so sweet. Hope the RR one will sound like that. So nasty!

Here's all the Lexus cars at the spocom show yesterday.
Way more bagged cars than I thought. Few really nicely done.

Default Advan wheels

Well finally found some time to put my new track wheels on the car today. Thought I would share some pics. What do y'all think?

specs:
Advan GT wheels in satin black 19" +35 square
Advan center caps (which I'm not totally sold on. May take off.)
Makin titanium lugs
Makin red anodized valve stems
Yokohama AD08R tires 275/30/19

i took car for a quick test ride after install.
Immediate change was the turn-in feel !! It is remarkably quicker & sharper with good feed back.
I will attribute most of the change to the new tires although I'm sure lighter wheel weight helped too.
These yoko are so much sharper than the PSS. The tire is super soft so for daily driving, tread wear would be an issue. I'm using these exclusively on the track so as long as they last 3-4 track weekends, I'll be satisfied.

Does the car feel faster due to less unsprung weight? Yes I think a little but nothing substantial.

welcome everyone's feed back on how the car looks with 19" advans (track only) vs 20" Rennen (red street wheels).

Definitely great track wheels. I like the red wheels better on your car if I had to choose. Your ride is looking great as usual!

Hey andrew, thanks man.
Funny you say you want blk wheels. I like the grey color volks you got.
The advan GTs come in a light grey polished version. Almost got those instead.
Figured the blk will be easier to deal with since I get tons of rubber slung on them.

(Ps just now realized I replied to one of your previous comments calling you Will. My fault.)

Thank you.
yeah I think I like the red rims better too, visually. Just makes the car stand out.
Lots of blk rimmed cars around town, although I will say the car looks more sinister with blk rims on.
Plus I'm trying to be like Pheen619. Hahaha. Our cars look a lot alike except I can't park on frame.

Your hood come back yet? I'm ready to see some pics!
Mine is back at the painters. Had a few blemishes that need to be sanded & buffed.
Think the clear coats on the hood will weigh more than the carbon fiber...
I have cancelled the expel appointment twice already. Gotta have patience if I want it right I guess.

Off topic
i read that you want to start tracking your car. How far is CMP from your house? (Carolina motorsports park)
Or which track would be your local track?
You can pm' me if you need.

haha, no problem.

i like black wheels but with orange. also colored calipers pop so much more with black wheels. look how nicely your calipers are showing now. it just looks fast and expensive.

i really would have to black out my window trim and thats something i didn't want to do on this car. so the wheel color i have works well. but your F is white and the chrome trim blends with your paint so it goes nicely with black or any type of silver/gunmetal color. i might have to find a friend with black wheels to try on jus to see . maybe I'm over thinking the window trim but i have a good eye for things like that. really enjoying this build, keep up the good work. would love to see more track pics

Looking......Loving the ADVANS...

So, what's next...Supercharger...

PS: As for the Center Caps, they offer a low profile which is flush with the face of the rim and I vote for "Black Lugs" would clean it up and give you that Track look.

PPS: Provided pictures...

PPPS: Looking at your car mine look "Plain" without a TOMs Bodykit...

Hi. Thank you.
Like you advans too ! On a GSF it's even more special. Hardly see any of those around. I've seen like 2 in ATL plus Lance's which I haven't seen yet.

Yeah ah not feeling the caps. May just ditch them all together.
Will just paint the hub flat black so it's low contrast.

Black lugs would be cool. But 1st it's hard to find Ti lugs in blk. Plus blk lugs gets scratched real bad and I know since my Iconix lugs are starting to show their age and it's only been a year some because I'm swapping rims all the time.

Guess super charger isnt isn't out of the question but heard about the maf issues so gonna wait Until the bugs get worked out.
