Your car looks great! Wish those parts we're so damn expensive and hard to get.
Can you tell us the specs of the Mg wheels? size and offset?

Yes I agree the parts are so expensive The Mg wheels were stock offset +45/+55 19x8/19x9

 

Would you by chance know how much they weigh? Are they lighter than your Te37's?

 

I did not weigh them before selling but they were bloody light without tyres. Much lighter than the TE's and the Aluminum ones

Have you ever thought of throwing the RR supercharger at your car?

I really think that would maybe be a good option going forward though expensive.

Im actually a big fan of the above mentioned track tested mods you can't go wrong with people like that.

Thank you so much! I looked at the supercharger and if I still had my older IS-F that would have been the ideal route, with the car being what it is I really do not want to change anything that would detract from the original way the package was supposed to be. I understand slightly more power etc will put the suspension, sway bars and differential through it's proper paces but at the same time I am the sort of person that would keep a sort of special car just the way it was built.

With the long boring answer, yes I would love the supercharger just not on this car. A mid pipe (keeping the factory item) is all that is planned mechanically with only a shift **** for the interior and perhaps a proper fixed back seat. As you would guess, I changed wheels just to keep the OEM's from harm so I am a little pedantic.

Im really keen to see and hear how you and the car go at the track.

Linear power is a good thing.Its one of the big reasons why I stayed at the BPU level with the Supra because I didn't want to sacrifice driveability under all conditions.

^exactly my thoughts. I like that it doesnt go as high up on the bumper like the toms one does.
