Default Got The Knock Sensor Code For Christmas 🎅

Has anyone had any success with aftermarket knock sensors? Please tell me which brand. Not really in the mood to shell out $$ for 2 sensors and wiring harness.

I'm in the same boat. Happened a little over two weeks ago. 160k miles. Was planning on both sensors, starter, and intake manifold gasket. Rock Auto has multiple sensors to choose from. On line dealer cost are about $107 for each sensor. The wiring harness I am not sure applies to us though. I know it's on the 2JZ. Just not sure about ours. Good luck.

They have NTK and WVE sensor at $86 and $90 each at Rock Auto. Those two brands are their highest quality with a 36,000 mile warranty. Good Luck.
