O2 sensor replacement
I have gotten the code for the bank 1 sensor 2 needing to be replaced. I have searched here and found a couple of threads. Found some YouTube clips as well. All say that you need to remove the seat and cut the carpet to get to the connector. Is this the way the service manual advised for replacement
It has been a long time since I saw the official procedure, but I think it calls for you to take out the front seat and pull the carpet back from the door sill. The good news is, YOU have experience taking out the front seat.
It maybe possible for you to disconnect the connector inside and tie a string to the end. Pull the O2 from the bottom and the string will follow the path under the carpet.
Attach the string to the new sensor end and pull up through the cabin. Hopefully the wire will follow the same path it came out. This may keep you from having to remove the front seat
