Regarding the speaker, yes, the original speakers do rot out and you can either replace them or repair them. There are repair kits for about $25 out there that will make a world of difference.

Depending on what the error code is, it is possible that you just have a loose vacuum hose that you'll be able to see if you take the engine cover off. They will likely be on the driver side on the top. OTOH, the O2 sensors are under the car and those could have been damaged by the flood. (A Techstream would help you narrow it down. You can pick one of them up for $25 to $50 or so on ebay.)

Welcome to the forum.
I found two complete seats for $75.00 each In can just swap the upper cushions and use my seat back. I buy most of my parts from car-parts.com the only issue is I have to go pick them up because they are too big to ship and they are 6 hours away. If I wanted the same color complete seats they would be around $600.00 for the set. So I would have around $4500.00 total in the car.
Are these speakers worth repairing? How good do they sound? I was thinking of replacing the radio eventually but that will be the last thing on my to do list LOL
I am going to get a Techstream I think it's a valuable tool to have especially since I might have gremlins pop up.

If I need to be more specific just let me know what you need and I'll try to include it

Hi everyone I bought a 2002 Lexus SC 430 and water got into the floorboard and got to the seat motors that's as high as it got.

The battery is new but was dead when I got the car

I have disconnected the electrical connections to both seats and checked all fuses.

The car starts and runs great but I'm having other problems that shouldn't have had anything to do with water damage.

The gas tank and trunk won't open
The side mirrors won't work
The door locks don't work either side
The drivers window wont roll up or down but the passenger window works. from what I have read the drivers side is the "Master" Not sure if that's true but I have ordered both since they are fairly inexpensive.
The top will not open and no red light on the button.
The security light blinks but the key fob doesn't do anything.

What works is the nav unit, the heat and air, radio, cruise control, vsc, tilt wheel functions, wipers, and all steering wheel controls.

I'm thinking of changing both door multiplex units first to try and get the door functions working so I can try to program the key fob.

Bases on this what advise can you give me? Any pin out tests would be great also.

Thanks in advance

Well, it may depend on what type of music you like, as for me, the speakers are good. (I tend to like classical, acoustic and some rock.) ML sound system was designed for the car. I can't speak for head banging music though. For $25, it is a quick and cheap fix.
Yes, even without you car being a flood car, it will still come in handy with a car that is approaching 20 years old.
