Default Hardtop CBEST setting via Techstream

I need to try to get my Techstream up and going again. Anyone know what the options are for hardtop control? Number 15 on the list. Looks like there are 4 options.

I found this in another thread. I had no idea you could retract and close the top this way.

Sliding Roof OPEN/DOOR KEY ON Links sliding roof to DOWN/DOOR KEY function when door is unlocked for 1.5 seconds ON/OFF

Sliding Roof CLOSE/DOOR KEY ON Links sliding roof to UP/DOOR KEY function when door is locked for 1.5 seconds ON/OFF

Sliding Roof OPEN/WIRELESS ON Links sliding roof to DOWN/WIRELESS function when transmitter unlock

Sliding Roof DOOR KEYOPER SLIDE Changes operation of sliding roof when using key to open or dose roof SLIDE/TILT

Sliding Roof WIRELESS OPER SLIDE Changes operation of sliding roof when using transmitter to open roof SLIDE/TILT

No, not yet. Need to get my Techstream reinstalled. I'm sure the link is not enabled by default. I will see if I can get it to work tomorrow. Don't see why this would not work unless it was disabled for our market or something. The description of the settings seems to be pretty clear. It implies you can retract via the wireless fob or door lock and close via the door lock but not wireless.

It would be a nice mod too if you could trick the roof module to think the car is not moving so you still drive 25 mph or so and operate the roof.

That has nothing to do with our hard top. I believe that for the sliding sun/moon roof.

I am just guessing, but I think the car wants the motor on when it opens/closes the roof so it has the power from the alternator and not just the battery. After all several motors have to run and a few at the same time.

I think you are right. I was really hoping to have this option... That operation is probably for sunroof equipped LS vehicles. I see it can be had with certain Viper remote start systems and an older system call Luxlink that is no longer produced.

I got Techstream up and going, if you guys need help PM me. It's really easy if you have a Mac and making a 32 bit Windows 7 virtual machine. There are only 2 options under the hardtop customizations and I believe it is enabled or disabled. Does not give a description like other adjustable parameters. I guess this could be useful if you wanted to disbale the hardtop for whatever reasons. No linking to the window down function when holding the unlock button. Well, at least I did customize other settings that I wanted to take care of the DRL, smog sensor sensitivity, and few other things and it's nice to have it back.

I did not know that you can disable the top operation via Techstream. Why would Lexus do that?

Maybe during transportation or assembly for safety.

I got lucky and found a luxlink version 3 new two years ago.

that one allows quarter window control.

The dealer service people are always amazed that it works basically everything by remote control including engine start.

a few have come through this site. That’s where i found mine. Someone had ordered 2 for a spare and sold the car.

you might post in the parts wanted? Or the sc430 regular section?
