Navigation CD

Good afternoon, happy holidays!

My cd for my 2004 sc is now 4 years old. The dealer wants $250 for an update. Any suggestions for an alternative resource?

They are readily available on ebay for about 11.00. I purchased one for a 06...no problems.

THanks, those all look like version U08 and that is what I already have.

Now that I look more closely, wrong chart, but same info. Think yours is a gen 3 which they stopped updating several years ago so you likely have the latest with U08.

you are correct, it was that Gen2/3 version and they had the West Coast or East Coast DVDs
Gen4 had one DVD for North America

Consider changing out your Gen 2/3 unit for a Gen 4 unit. On eBay you can find one for around $150. It is a direct replacement, remove your DVD box in back and put in the new one

Did that on our 2004 and it was easy.

Graphics are better and maps are a few years newer. Search the forum on doing this.

then the $12 dvd from eBay for it.
