I do not leave the lights on auto.
I turn off the radio.
Now I just pulled the fuse for the security system and noticed the security light is flashes! There should be no power with the fuse pulled in the driver's side kick panel, right?
Leave the light on Auto or leave the radio on will not drain your battery. Just make sure that you turn off the 30 seconds delay. Turn on the security system at night when park in the garage might have some effect. There are two fuses in the passenger kick panel that tie to the mobilization of the vehicle. Check your owner manual.
Why would you want to pull the fuses? Just don’t turn on the security system?
If your battery’s still draining, time to think replacing it.
I have a newer battery. This has always had a draining problem, that's why I have started to look at disconnecting things. When I pulled the security fuse the light on the dash strays blinking. I thought it should go out. Can not go more than a week before battery dies.
thanks

How old is your battery? When I had my drainage problem, I thought I had new battery too, then I checked the record, turnout the battery was two and half years old.
I took it back to Cisco and they gave me a brand new one. Yes, it’s sad, the SC will kill the battery in three years.

I once forgot to close the trunk all the way, and it drained the battery completely.
I too forgot to turn off the dome lights and drained my battery completely. After recharged, the battery only last two days and did not take the charge again. That when I took the battery back to Costco, yes Costco, and they gave me a new one because it only two and half years old.
Hence a battery maintainer will help. Every couple of days, I hook the SC. I have those easy connect prongs. All of my cars have them so they are plug and play.

I got a quick disconnect for the negative terminal, also have the tender. Would be nice to not need either
I have never had that experience. I go weeks without driving the SC and it never fails to start. I have a Duracell AGM battery that is over 2 years old and it is never a issue starting. I have always turned the lights off, shut down the AC and turned the radio off.
