Setting Memory Seats
I cannot seem to get the memory seats to set. I have checked all fuses associated with the power a 7.5 and a 30 on each inside panel and all is good. Set the positions you want have key on ON push and hold Set and then press the seat number you want. Am I doing something wrong?

I tried uploading all the pictures in one thread but after the first one it would not allow me to upload another? I have read the owner's manual on setting the memory seats. I have had a Lexus LS for years and it is the same seat memory system only with 1 more button

Ok I got it. I did not need to do the battery reset motion when I changed out the battery a year ago on the LS. Interesting that you need to reteach the seats after a battery change in an SC? Thanks for the tip Bgw 70. learned something new today. I was able to figure out how to transfer the contacts list from our phones into the 2 separate phone books. The phone system is not the same as in our LS

This sounds like the problem which occurs after power has been disconnected. The seats have to be "re-taught" their limits before the memory will work.
You should check your manual because I think different years have different procedures. Here's a couple posts from another thread:
What you have to do is move the seat back all the way forward using the power seat back switch until you hear a beep , then move the seat cushion back the entire way again using the power seat control, next move the seat cushion all the way forward using the power control. You can now put the seat in the position you desire and push set and #1.
1. Move the seat forward until you hear a beep.
2. Move the seat all the way back.
3. Move the seatback angle switch forward until you hear a beep
4. Move the seat back angle switch all the way reclined.
5. Set the memory now.

Thanks. I'll try that fix again. Looking in the manual, there's no fuse for memory seat alone, so I don't think it's a fuse. Tried google fix and that didn't work either. Maybe it's operator trouble!

Also, is your car silver and did you purchase it from a couple in St. Augistine last year?
