Seat Memory buttons stopped working?!

Seat Memory buttons stopped working?!
I have a 2002 SC430 and the seat memory buttons on both doors stopped working suddenly. No work done to the car, but I don't know what gives. Anyone else have this problem? Maybe a fuse? I am a car novice and could use some help! Thank you!

This sounds like the problem which occurs after power has been disconnected. The seats have to be "re-taught" their limits before the memory will work.
You should check your manual because I think different years have different procedures. Here's a couple posts from another thread:
What you have to do is move the seat back all the way forward using the power seat back switch until you hear a beep , then move the seat cushion back the entire way again using the power seat control, next move the seat cushion all the way forward using the power control. You can now put the seat in the position you desire and push set and #1.
1. Move the seat forward until you hear a beep.
2. Move the seat all the way back.
3. Move the seatback angle switch forward until you hear a beep
4. Move the seat back angle switch all the way reclined.
5. Set the memory now.

Does the seat move if you use the manual hand controls?
The seat is fused with a 30A fuse in the driver's side junction block. Position 17, first column closest to the door hinge, second one from the bottom, or sixth one from the top.

@JohnnyCake: Thanks for this fix! I got my car used and have been driving for 2 yrs thinking my seat memory buttons were busted, but not worth having it fixed at a dealer. Your procedure not only worked perfectly, I also found 85 cents!

the #2 memory drivers side does not work, does not beep. i tried the above it failed.
i have a nice warranty but i would like to fix it myself if possible
ideas?

"all the way back" is a relative term. They will go back until they hit the rear seat. I have not moved the seat all the way forward and then reclined them to see how far they will go. Sitting in the seat would require a driver with the equivalent size of a hobbit.
