Horn Relay??

Horn Relay??
I am having an intermittent problem with the horn. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It is not dependent on the steering wheel position so I doubt it has anything to do with the spiral cable. (still possible) It is obviously not the fuse so my question is, do we have a horn relay and if so where is it? I have searched both on this form and the internet in general and can't find anything specific. Any help is always appreciated.

In that case, it’s a spiral cable or it connection to the switch most likely the latter.

What year is your car? There are two (maybe even three) spiral cables for the SC, getting the right year is important. Believe it or not, a non oem clockspring cable for the latter years can be had for like $20

84306-51030. I can get one of those for about $180. I did see some on eBay for about $40. Wasn't sure how reliable they would be.

I ended up with a used OEM one.

Yeah, I think it is the spiral cable also. The mode buttons stop working at the same time the horn stops. so, I am 99% sure it is the cable. The volume up and down still work. I have a 2006 and the OEM number is 84306-51030. I can get one of those for about $180. I did see some on eBay for about $40. Wasn't sure how reliable they would be.

I've owned more than 10 automobiles so far, not single one has horn problem. I thought this problem never occurred.
Boy, I'm so wrong.
