Need help wondering why th cars top make a noise then proceed goes up and down normal but kinda slow

Wow, that's a new one to me. It sounds like a gear is slipping and then finally grabs. But that's just a wild guess.

My guess is the "Package Tray" mechanism. That is the part behind your back seats that fills in the space where the roof normally is.

Can you have someone take a picture of the area behind your back windscreen/Back seat while you put your top up?

If we don't see anything there, then we would have to take the carpet out in the back and see what the hinges are doing

Find out which motor is making that noise and get back at me I may have a motor that will solve your problem

it’s the driver side the sound looking like it’s coming from a metal lock

Find out where the sound is coming from
have someone press the open closed button and go and listen
to find out exactly what's making the noise
that's how I found my problem with my top and get back with me
