@RofH Thank you for your response. My SC430 is a 2004. Apparently the 2002-2006 vintage is a bear to find aftermarket TPMS for. I've done some more searching and Pacific does not offer these direct; in fact, some sources even claimed Pacific has stopped making the PMV-1001. I have also called Schrader and of all the cars in the world they do not have TPMS'es that would work with 3 models: the 2002-2006 SC430, a Plymouth and another make/model.
I just gave Costco (in the Dallas/Fort Worth area) a ring and their answer was – for my model year SC430, I'd need to by the sensors from Lexus, they could install and reset for $15 a wheel +$40 for rotation and balance – would end up costing me around $500, all in. Thanks for the tip!
You might be right about Pre-Refresh years as now I'm trying to remember for sure if Costco can do our years or not or if it was just the Refresh yrs.
We also have a 2004. If you have more than one Costco, I would call them all as well if the first one doesn't work out.
Good luck and please keep us posted on how and if you're able to find compatible and programmable tpms sensors for our 2002-2005 MYs.

Rock Auto has them for about $300.00 shipped. The early years you have to get either the Denso, OEM (made by Denso) or the Standard motors brand. My experience is that the tire places cannot program them and you will have to use Techstream. That is what I did when mine needed replacing.

I sure will. By the way, Park Place Lexus has just quoted me $1,150 for the 4 TPMS replacement! My SC430 has about 60k miles, at $1,100, the TPMS replacement cost would translate to about 5-7% of the value of the car, if not higher – ouch!

Here's just a thought if you can't get them from RockAuto.
You JUST MISSED a big sale at Bell (AZ), Treasure Coast (FL) and Prestige (NJ) Lexus online parts depts where I've seen them as cheap as $89 each, so roughly $360 for all 4 and just pay for labor to have them installed. They will always have Free Shipping and No Sales Tax for out-of-state customers.
If you can wait until next sale that's usually around holidays and seasonal events. The one that just finished was an extra 15% off.
There's always a huge one around July 4th with usually 20% their already marked down prices. I think that's where I'm getting the $89 each price.
Part numbers for TPMS sensors:
42607-24041 Gold 42607-24031 Red 42607-24011 White 42607-24021 Blue
Here are links to the Gold one only, you can punch in the rest of the numbers if need be.
