Hi, I hope this is an easy fix.. my top was working fine then I took the interior apart to clean and paint then I put everything back together and now the top wont open. The red light on the open/close is lid.. can anyone helo

 

Check to make sure you haven't inadvertently hit the valet button in the glove box...also, be sure the privacy shade is seated properly like so...

 

the valet button should it be on or off? thanks

 

The button should be pushed in I believe...but you'll know because the light will blink 4-5 times and the top won't lower. Press it in and it should.

 

you said you took the interior apart, do you mean the trunk area?
if so, I bet you did not plug-in the trunk cover switch.
