FOB nor the inside release button will open it. What am I missing? I last opended it yesterday and since then, no bumps, mishaps or damages....just wont open.

Have appointment on Monday but was hoping to do it on my own (with your help)...Lexus is about 50 miles from me, don't want to make the trip unless I heve to.

 

If i remember correctly there is a lockout button in the glove box
You can always call the 800 number for advise if you can't get to a dealer

 

I had the same issue. It was the valet button like ^^^ said.

once in a blue moon im not able to open my trunk and its always the button inside the glove box.

 

sometimes it gets pushed when u slam the glove box closed...i've done that before.

 

FYI. The trunk can also be opened with the key on your fob. There is a keyhole above the license plate and to the left.
