Default Speedometer malfunction

My SC430 had a dead battery for about a month and I replaced it Saturday with a new one. Everything worked fine when I started the engine except the speedometer pointer (don't know the technical term). I hasn't worked and stays at the 0 MPH position, actually well below the 0. I don't know if the length of no battery power has anything to do with it, as all of the other gauges work fine. Any ideas why this happened and how to fix it?

Thanks

Not really, but I would disconnect power again, then reconnect. Hope it helps.

Possibly the reconnection off the battery caused a surge and blew a fuse?

According to this fuse diagram, it could be Fuse number 5 or Fuse 20 https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...am-2002-a.html
