Please don't roast me guys. The SC430 is a beautiful car. I love mine, but whenever I put the top down, I feel disappointed. The car's appearance is so drastically changed. Just seems like something is missing, but I haven't quite put my finger on it yet.
If I am not the only person to feel this way, I am really curious what modifications others have done to enhance the look with the top down. I need to queue up some projects for this spring/summer.
hmm, I started loving my car specially with top down after lowering, wide wheels (flush).. s2000 ap2 exhaust tips and now it has an exotic look to it..
...with all my mods, I think I'm still equal about top up or down. I definitely think new wheels will give it a totally new appearance, then if money allows, add a body kit....then it's a whole new ball game. I haven't looked real hard, but I would like to add the roll bar that the 500 SL has when it's top is down, I think that would look good on the Sc
A more aggressive stance (coilovers in the rear?) and moving the tires out a bit would be a relatively simple mod and I agree that it would improve the appearance.
A widebody would be really nice, but honestly after looking around at kits, I have yet to find one that I actually like. They all seem to change the appearance too much and makes you wonder if you should have just bought another car like a Nissan 350z.
I love the over-all SC430 look, so I am trying to find some more subtle mods. I'll keep looking. There is bound to be something I will like out there.
