I desperately need for my 07 SC430 to sound that good. It's probably the one problem with the car. It's too damn quiet. My friend has a V6 Infinity coop. A G37 I believe and it isn't half the car the SC430 is but the exhaust is music right from the factory. Lexus really missed the mark on this point.

OK, great sound. My understanding is that if you screw around with the exhaust on our SC's the change in back-pressure is going to set off a bunch of sensors and you will have read lights on your dash and no way to cancel them out.

Hi Moonstruck

I have had a cat back stainless steel custom exhaust on mine for years, never thrown a code or warning light. Just a fantastic sound.

Cheers

Hi Moonstruck

It was custom made from scratch by the guy you can see in the picture. It is not the best looking system, I agree, but does what I want.
I spent the day at the shop with him trying different mufflers until it sounded how I wanted it. We decided to add the small tail boxes to tone it down a little.

Cheers

Steve,

looks like your SC has lost some weight from the new exhaust.. looks great! (for people on air) I wonder if its possible to cut out the round thing for the spare and make room for a spare tire underneath the car with that type of exhaust setup!

Thanks Moe

I have also taken out the heat shield, so there is even more room down there. Could be possible to cut out the trunk floor and have room for a spare, but not something I will be attempting.

Cheers
