SC430 uncorked
I decided to play with the exhaust system by having a custom Magnaflow system installed. What a wonderful sound! It reminds me of a Mustang 5.0 exhaust note. At certain speeds it does drone a bit but other than that I love the overall sound. The oval tips seem to fit the rear valance better as well. Just thought I'd post something new.

Any pics? From the bottom too
I regretted buying a Borla exhaust for my ex-GS400. Sounded awesome from outside, and not loud at all. Problem was it was louder INSIDE than out, especially at 1500 to 2K rpms, where a deafening drone developed.
I don't personally think the sound of the SC430 is appealing at all. Sounds... just weird. Like it's gurgling. Would love to change that, but not at the expense of drone; not anymore.
Only exhaust I've heard eliminates resonance is Corsa. I don't know if they make it for the SC, but I didn't like the way it sounded on the vette. I ended up putting a B&B on my ex-vette that supposedly didn't resonate, but it did more than stock. Sounded pretty cool though.
I rather enjoy the serenity of a quiet interior, as experience seems to indicate a nice sound means resonance.
Happy Thanksgiving.

JC,
I remember you commenting about the borla drone awhile back....unfortunately I have the same resonance going on. Other than that RPM range, it sounds great. I love it but the wife doesnt. Oh well...she should get her own car to play with. I certainly turn some heads when start the car up, a lot of people didnt realize that we had a V8 in the thing. I'll post some pics when it stops raining here on the east coast. Got to have her dressed up and looking good.
On another note....I just received my first batch of Zaino products. I was skeptical at first but now I am a tried and true believer. I've never seen a shine so deep.
Happy Thanksgiving as well...

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

I just put a Blitz on my sc430. Bought it from one of our fellow board members who's putting on a Toms system. For those of you thinking about the Blitz it's a great product, perfect fit just bolts on, no adjustment issues at all. Took 45 minutes to install. and that includes removing the stock system. It looks and sound great. I'm really happy with it.
