Default Back Seat Headrests

I have a 2004 SC430 and the leather over the back seat headrests appears to have, somehow, shrunk. The place where it raps around the back side bottom is starting to show the padding.
Does anyone know if I need to get replacement headrests or if the covering is simply slipped over the padding? In either case, does anyone know where I can get either replacement headrests or leather "sleeveing?"

Thanks,
Bob

IIRC, there was a thread about dealing with this issue in the past a few years ago. I think some folks took them to reupholstering shops and they were able to restore the leather to the proper positions.

I remember that thread. Pictures and possible solutions. I think VVTiBOB was the primary contributor. I couldn't find it with a quick search, but its out there.

Default Thank you one and all

I am not sure how to do an individual thank you so I am thanking everyone who replied.
I went to the old post about this and see that there are no leather replacments.
And I certainly don't plan to buy new headrests from Lexus.
Guess I will either go to a leather shop or wait for a pair to turn up.

Default Headrest

Good Evening, I have an 02...took them apart last year and tried to stretch the leather. I ended up putting black tape on the white part and it seems to fix the problem. I decided to not purchase new headrests from Lexus...of course. I also didn't take it a leather shop. The fix that did covers the 15 foot rule... I am pretty much the only one who knows there is an issue. Good Luck.

I'm with Moondog on this fix. My interior is black, so I used a black permanent marker to color the edges of the white, that was showing. It covered it completely and not noticeable at all

Marker idea is a good one but my interior is saddle color.
Wonder if I can locate a "Deco Color" paint marker to match.
Will need to check that out.
