Default Leather question

I bought a used '02 SC430 recently. The Saddle tan leather is beautiful except for the little strap which holds the drivers' side seat belt against the seat. The outer face is worn. It first appeared to look dirty but in trying to clean it I discovered that it was worn. Do any of you have any ideas/products to effect a small recoloring job like that?

long shot, but i don't know if you can take that part off? or it's completely attached to the seat? if it's separate, maybe you can check with l-tunedparts.com (carson toyota) and see if they can get the part for you

it is stitched to the seat on the inner part of the strap.
