Driver side door cannot close when window is up
I guess the roof needs adjustment since my driver side door won't close if the window is up all the way.
Checked the roof and found there is a larger gap on the passenger side than on the driver side. That causes the unevenness of the roof, I think.
Just wonder if anyone else has such issues too. I am going to let the dealer take a look this weekend.

Took my SC430 in today for the passenger airbag recall and got a new 2014 ES350 loaner before I even asked.
Asked about the roof adjustment, the SA told me it would cost $200-300 for them just to look at it. I said no. Guess what's paying for all the new loaners? But the Lexus service is top notch indeed.

I dont think its your roof.. I think its your window.. did this just start happening recently? the only time i noticed my door wouldnt close with the window fully up was when the car was on a jack on one side meaning the whole body was flexing.. im sure without it being lifted from a side there wouldnt be enough flex for your door to not close.. must be your door or window
It is your window. There are stops down inside the door that tell the window computer when to stop going up. Look for my instructions on replacing the door's triangular weatherstripping to learn how to gain access and adjust it. It is not difficult and can be done in 20 minutes or so, but be patient and careful to keep from tearing up any plastic pieces.
