VSC/VSC OFF CEL Fixed...
Well at least so far it is. Changed my exhaust gaskets both pre-cat and post-cat. Aside from having one manifold stud go to crap while removing the nut it was fairly straight forward. Reset my fault code with my handy bluetooth obd2 reader and so far all is well. I just wanted to post this as a follow up to my other post where I mentioned some of the issues I was having. This was a P0430 code and when I took it to the lexus dealer to see if it was an o2 sensor and what one they said catalytic converters and tried to get me in for service to the tune of about $3000. So after $20 in gaskets, $18 for one stud and two nuts, and $13 for a set of sockets at harbor freight to remove the stud I seem to have the problem solved. Basically a post for future searches, I will follow up with any info if this was not the fix. Thanks guys, -Chris
Wow this is great info and right on time......
My engine light, VSC, VSC off light all went on suddenly while driving.
my mechanic with OBD2 reader states its catalytic converters but they didn;t tell me the exact code.
need to download the apps and check
