I guess I'll be the one to ask the really dumb question...
Is it possible there's no Disc #1 in the player?
If you have Discs #2-6 in there and you hit the "Load" button, what does the player do?
If it says "Full", there's a problem...if it does some thinking and then opens up its jaws to accept a disk, you probably only have 5 discs loaded.
