Pop Top keeps the sun out
I have found that my new California Pop Top keeps the sun and dust off and reduces the number of times I open and close the roof when I leave my car out for an hour or three without any valuables in the back seat. It only takes 30 seconds or so to put on or take off.

For picture you can go on google image and search "California Pop Top".
I wouldn't get it, its not something you would put on when parking to go to the store. Nothing you would do on a regular errands trip. Or at least i definately wouldnt. Too much hastle. Instead I limo tinted the windows and use a simple $5 sun shade on the windsheild.

That looks like a pain to put into place. The top goes up or down in 22 seconds. I'm taking a pass on covering my beautiful car with an ugly rag.
What ever happened to the classic tonneau cover?

And if you have a LuxLink, that 22 seconds is not part of your life, since you are walking away as the top is going up. Likewise, on your return, you've opened the top as you approach so the car is already cooling down. Of course, the LuxLink is slightly more expensive......

I agree, for the 22 seconds it takes to put the top up, the pop top seems like a real hassle.

Probably you and 2 friends can do the "pop top" (an automotive do-rag) in 30 seconds. One person would probably have to fiddle with it for a while longer.
It's not about the time, actually, but it's about elegantly holding in a button or running around the car like a clown looking as if you expect 16 more clowns to pop out of it. Perhaps that's why it's called a pop top.
I have my dignity!
