Default HELP - my car wonīt start!

This canīt be true

Bought the car one week ago and now it wonīt start....

When I turn the start key, the only thing that happens is that I hear a kind of knocking sound, the motor is not spinning at all.
Is that the starter/start engine?
Not getting enough power?
The battery level low?
Other?

Ahhhh, I donīt know....and I donīt have the time to trouble shoot...I just want to drive my car!

Please help me out here!!!

Hopefully its the battery. get the car jumped and take it to Walmart or someplace like Autozone and have them check the battery. Replace battery when in doubt. If its not the battery and its making that sound it may be serious $$$ - hopefully you got some kind of warranty if this is the case. .

When you turn the key to start does the interior lights go dim? Also like Jabberwock said try getting a jump and then taking your battery to a place to get tested.

Not sure if Sweden has Walmarts yet, but if not, it's just a matter of time! LOL Check battery! Should be an easy fix.

I got my SC almost three weeks ago. The same thing happened to me because I played with it and cleaned the interior in the garage the next morning. I must have run down the battery. I haven't had trouble since.

No Wal-mart in Sweden - who knew? : )

Seriously glad you got it resolved and that it was not serious.
