Help please guys. The side markers are just reflectors in the UK and I want to paint them body colour, tint them or change the covers to clear, but I have yet to work out how to remove them. I have taken out as many screws from the front fender liner as I can and still can't get it off.
Any help would be gratefully received.

The back wing ones are accessed behind the corners pieces of carpet in the boot just release the lugs in the car think its three of them and lift and pull the carpet.
The reflector are seen at the lowest point of the wing, you then need to squeezed and you push at the same time hope this help Steve.

I had all the boot liner out when I installed the coilovers and didn't even think to look there. I presumed they were behind the wing/fender liner.
All I need now is some help with the fronts.

Maybe I can give you a hand in a few weeks time to help get them out for you...

 

for the front ones, just directly pull the wheel well liner (lower portion) out.
there is no need to remove any screws or clips.

each side marker is hold by one screw only.

 

Is it really that simple, amazing?

Yep, pictures speak louder than words and you don't even have to take the wheel off.
You won't believe how long I tried, had no idea it would just pull out.

No problem, that method is not listed in the oem repair manual, so likely only very few people know it here.

Once you start to modify your car, you'll figure out a few tricks or shortcuts by yourself.

Unfortunately the rear is not so easy, looks like bumper has to come off!!!!

Sorry mate, but you can't get to them from the boot/trunk. The part at the bottom in the well under the corner carpet/tray is some sort of valve to allow air to flow out from inside the car.
I moved the rear wing/fender liner as Talwang suggested for the fronts (they came out so easy) and you can just get your hand in and feel the marker light, but no way can you get to the retaining screw. Probably just enough room to change a bulb if we had one, but not to get it off. Looks like bumper off to me.

Unless of course someone on here can tell me different!!!!!!!

Steve, I was thinking about you while I was looking at my front amber corner lights. In my hand was a Candy Apple Red Hobby transparent paint. I was so ready to spray paint the front corner lights so it matched the rear corner lights.

You do not have to remove the corner lights, just mask and spray. I sprayed my Acura TL tails many years ago and it turned out fine (get the orange to turn red).

I think 2 or 3 layers of this candy apple red will do wonders for the front to at least match the rear.

Or else we can try to find another color paint, like gray tint or dark brown and poaint both the front and back.

its againest the law to have red marker in the front of a car. if they want to find something to give you a ticket, thats it.
