At this point I'm surprised more people haven't tried using the cell phone antenna on the rear window. One guy managed to hack that together. Having now broken 2-3 antennas in car washes I'm now about desperate enough to try it.
My current antenna only retracts down to 1ft; maybe I should just disconnect the motor and leave it down. I have SiriusXM and DVD anyway.
