I won't comment, but perhaps an observation... that's a lot of car for $9000. :-)

 

Hello All,

I am new to this forum as I bought my first Lexus on Friday. I purchased a 2008 LS430 with 11,282miles on it. I have it at the dealer right now getting the airbag fix, but hopefully I will take possession of the car on Tuesday or Wednesday! I am really excited about this car and can't wait to get her out on the road with the top down. We live in Southern California, so I am sure I will be doing plenty of topless driving !

Purchased my 2008 SC 430 Pebble Beach [32,000 miles] in late February of this year, with Smokey Granite Mica [medium gray]exterior and tan/ecru interior. The original owner traded it for a new Maybach. I had been searching online for a 430 with these specs for over a year. I had decided to limit my purchase within a 750 mile radius. My wife and I were vacationing in Florida this winter and found it 15 miles from where we were staying. It is close to perfect- obviously has been extremely pampered, which will continue. Minor upgrades thus far include Lexus logo aluminum pedals and have ordered a Colgan carbon fiber [textured] bra. Will change out the run flats asap. Currently I am just using the tape cartridge conversion for my iPod. Will send pictures soon. Glad to be on board- love this car!!

Gas - will only use premium

Interested in making upgrades to Stereo / Navigation, Floor Matts, Possibly Exhaust, wheels. Also interested in finding more out about tricks with driving without a spare.

2002 SC430, bought with 93K miles, only paid $7K. No major problems, been serviced at Lexus dealerships its whole life and only driven 6K miles in the last 4 years. Drives like a dream!

 

Just got this 2005 from my aunt in Tampa, FL, about two weeks ago. It had been sitting in her garage for the last two years without being driven. She had it towed to Tampa Bay Lexus where they checked it out and changed all of the fluids and filters. Felt like royalty when I picked it up. This is my first Lexus and had not experienced that level of customer service. Drove 1,000+ miles to get it to Houston, TX. Mileage turned over to 70,000 on the way home. Her name is Purl and I love her! I found ClubLexus when searching for an owner's manual. I have ordered it from Lexus and it is being shipped now. Thank you!
