Delightfully tacky yet unrefined.

 

I suspect they'll stay on fine unless they are impacted by something. Wheels might be a problem if the glue gets heated up

My wife has the M3 badge bedazzled on her track car and they've all stayed on just fine at 150 mph for two seasons. Not nearly at the level of this SC though.

The hood design looks amazing! Perhaps they clearcoated the hood after the jewels are glued on?

While I can appreciate the patience and number of hours necessary to install, I wonder what affect it had on coefficient of friction on the aerodynamics, i.e. is there is drag or no drag?

 

Do a search on Swarovski under SC430 if you want more info. I believe I did a short write up on it on the Special Edition Sticky thread as well, but that wasn't the first time or the second time we've had CL members bump this car. Pretty creative if you ask me. I could see Kim K. rockin' something like this! LOL LFA Swarovski Edition??? LOL

 

That Swarovski-crystallized SC430 has been posted a few times here before.

If you guys can dig the story a little deeper (Chinese reading skill required unfortunately), it was specially designed for a bridal show in Taiwan back in late 2008.
For that purpose, I think Lexus Taiwan, Swarovski Elements and the designer did a great job on that SC430.

BTW, I don't remember if anyone here has posted the interior pics before, perhaps not.

 

So wrong on so many levels.
