Impressive, I like how your whole setup doesn't take up any additional space, yet is still easily accessible. I suppose removal of that black passenger side brace didn't affect structural rigidity in any way? After looking at mine closer yesterday, it appears as if it's only purpose is to provide a mounting spot for the ML amplifier and the carpeted cover. Originally I thought it was more important, but now it looks like it really isn't necessary (in your case anyway).

Thanks a lot for the pictures, always great to see what other cool ideas people have come up with.

Mine isn't going to be as fancy, and I'll be going with an infinite baffle set-up to avoid having to build a box. Despite the laughing earlier on in this thread, I have already ordered a Sundown Audio SA-8 to mount in the stock location. Just have to find an inexpensive 5-600W rms amplifier and some sound deadening material and I should be good to go. I'll make it fit haha.

The metal brackets are only there to support the carpeted trim panel. Removing them causes no problem at all. The Amp and Nav are bolted to the floor. They free up quite a bit of room once they're out of the way!

Thanks for your comments and good luck with your project.
