Thanks!!! I'm hoping the high end $300 detail by the local experts will get me headed in the right direction. Since I bought this car, my company has gone through three major layoffs and my geography as a sales manager went from 3-4 states to 12 states in the past year, so you can understand that I haven't had too much time to "rub" on her, right?

Wow Derek, excellent job and beautiful looking car.

I can commiserate with you on the job situation. We went through about 5 or 6 layoffs, I got transferred and had to travel for a couple of years (about 3 days a week). The travelling is finally coming to an end though, I think.

BTW, I need to make an appointment with you, you see I have these scratches in my car and ...

I rarely talk about work but will do now. I work for an Automotive supplier and since 2008 when the industry went into the dumps, we tried to keep afloat. And we did keep afloat with severe layoffs and a lot of cost cutting. The original owner decided to stay away from Automotive and as a result we were sold to another company. That meant new management and you all know how it goes.

Automotive orders are picking up, I can not complain. We just got awarded a new Lexus Program, 416A for their Pad Switch Assembly. I do not even know what kind of car this is. Launch is 2013. 1st vehicle build is May, 2011. I currently do the new Sienna Pad Switch Assembly (all decorated plastics, not the switches).

It has been a challenge to keep employed much less continue doing what you really enjoy doing. Again, I can not complain.

I just saw this thread, so glad you were able to get that scratch out without repainting.

The car is looking great, BTW.
